I bet there are few people who do not recognize the appendices as Big Bird's! Forty years, Sesame Street is the show's oldest children's television. It is now seen in 120 countries. I was already in school when the first broadcast, but I remember I was sitting with my sister and watch when I got home. And then, twenty years later, watching with my children. What a wonderful book! It's Huge though. Not a crouch to read such a book. Anyway, worth the price. Great pictures, tons of info on all the Sesame Street Muppets. A must for all enthusiasts.
