I am currently using a CoverMax brand cover. It is the only cover I have ever used that has never blown off of my bike. It has elastic around the bottom and a nylon strap that goes under the engine. My bike is outside all year and this cover is great. Has held up for 2 winters.

Watch out for the covers that secure through the front wheel. One of them pulled my bike over in a windstorm. The wind lifted the cover off of the rear and it acted like a sail to pull the bike over.

My ‘95 sleeps under a Dowco.
Its heavy with heavy elastic around the bottom, plus tie-downs, has heat resistant material on the bottom and is vented.
