Car Covers

We all love our cars, but I have seen that most people dont use car body covers, which in fact gives certain benefits in car maintenance. why we dont use it?

quite simple………. Without the cover on the car and while you are driving around your car gets a light layer of dust on it. If you then throw a car cover over your car and there is a slight breeze blowing the car cover brushing against the dirt will act like a sandpaper and scrub away at your paintjob causing more harm than good

if the car is not clean when its put on and i mean just road dust the movment betweem the cover and car scratches the paint work they also hold water between the two whitch causes the car to rust

What is the benefit ? It just keeps the dust off, if it gets wet it causes all sorts of problems on the finish of the car. If you get freezing rain it is a pain to remove. It can and may blow off in a strong wind. If its wet you have to hang it out to dry. most car covers are a pain for 1 person to put on and remove and you have to store the damn thing somewhere all the time. SO now list the good things about it!!! other than it`s great to keep dust off during storage in a garage . I take mine off and still wash the car anyway after storing it for the winter.
